- What is the Network of Translators in Education’s (NTE’s) Liliane Vincent Merit Scholarship?

After completing her studies at Laurentian University and the University of Ottawa, Liliane Vincent worked as a translator and editor, and as the director of language services for the Canadian Teachers’ Federation. In 1985, in light of the differences among school systems and educational terminology across Canada, Liliane brought together a group of language professionals to create the NTE, a national network that provides terminology support and that acts as a channel of mutual assistance for translators working in education.
